Mr. Thakur Joshi Staff Supplies Co. Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 110070 April 16, 2011 Mr. Ranga Mishra Sales Manager Supplies Co. Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 110070 Dear Mr. Mishra, I would like to apologize for my misconduct during the company assembly last week.  I realize that it is against company rules to bring your child during formal company gatherings but my wife had to go to an emergency business meeting and could not bring my child home.  As such, I had to take care of my child in my office and bring her home with me at the end of the assembly.  I personally talked to my direct superior and explained the matter.  But I know that I must also write a formal apology letter to you for violating company rules.  I am awaiting the penalty I must face as a result for my actions and will willingly accept it.  Rest assured that such an incident will be avoided in the future. Sincerely, Mr. Thakur Joshi
