Dear Mr. Chaturvedi,

I am writing you this letter to apologize for negatively criticizing your work outside the proper venue.  I should have brought up my criticisms during the meeting that we held to review the designs but I was a bit hesitant of my opinion at the time.  I know that it is a violation of company ethics to discuss the matter with other staff behind your back.  I am really so sorry for my action and for whatever emotional pain it has caused you.  I hope it is not too late to mend our good relationship which is important among co-workers.

The matter has been brought up with our team leader and I will face the consequences of my action.  I hope we continue to work in good terms and I pledge to respect and uphold company work ethics more firmly.

I hope you accept my apology.

Sincerely,

Mr. Thangam Punjab
