Dear Friend,

I am deeply sorry about the way I talked to you last week. I was insensitive, hurtful and the language I used was inappropriate. I was angry but this is not an excuse for the names I called you. You have always been a good friend to me and don’t deserve what I did to you. You have the right to be upset because that is exactly how I would feel if I were in your place. You have been my best friend for years now and I don’t want that to end. I know you may not trust me now but I plan to regain that trust back. I would like us to spend some time together again, please find it in your heart to forgive me. I hope to hear from you as soon as you read this.
