Mr. Abraham Wilson

Secondary Teacher,

St.Martin’s School

North Carolina

Invitation to farewell ceremony

Respected Sir,

It was with a sense of sorrow and disappointment we received the information about your retirement from service. We are in fact running without words to express our gratitude to you. You are indeed one among those great teachers who are able to transform the worst student to a studious and responsible student.

You loved your students as your own children and thus you got a place in their hearts. You made us responsible, courageous and industrious. You believed that character building is an essential part of education. We remember those moments when you were kind and affectionate to us though we disobeyed you and committed mistakes.

Sir, we promise you that we will never deviate from the path of truth and love shown to us by you and as you always expect, we will make use of our knowledge and energy to serve the society and provide relief to those who suffer. Your advising words still echo in our ears and they always inspire us to take the path of glory. We regard you as our guiding light throughout.

Sir, we humbly request you to grace us with your esteemed presence in the farewell ceremony that we have organized tomorrow at 4pm in the school premises. We regard tomorrow’s function as a memorable event of our life. Looking forward to meet you in the function and listen to your words, we remain,

Yours obediently,

Arnold Bretton

President – Students Association
