Dear Mr. Gray,

I am interested in the position of Team Leader in your organization, as advertized on Craigslist. Given my related experience and complementing skills, I would appreciate your consideration for this position.

As a customer service representative for 11 months, I provided customers with information on destinations they were visiting and didn’t know much about. Being in a travel industry, I interacted with people from all over the world on a daily basis. My role, however, was much more than just giving information.

A lot of the people travelling would be doing so out of emergency, or other serious circumstances demanding fast action. Through my conversations, I establish rapport, determine the need of the customer, and instill confidence in the products I deliver for the company. Knowing well that I was the voice of the company, I took my responsibilities seriously, and as a result, was promoted to Team Coach in my 12th month.

As a travel representative, I consistently met the company expectations for service level agreements in both written and telephonic interactions, along with receiving several recognitions for ‘Excellent Customer-Service’.
