Re: Mortgage loan modification request

Mortgage account no : 2-866-234-8271

This is to bring to your kind notice that a sequence of unfortunate events is responsible to delinquent my mortgage. Despite sincere efforts to get my mortgage back on track, I have failed. I would like to put forward at this point of time a request to modify my loan so that I can retain my home.

Due to my father’s health concerns that is costing us a lot despite medical insurance, expenses have gone overboard and I am unable to make both ends meet. I tried considering refinance but looks that it is not the best option during this time of unhealthy economic circumstances. I do not want to undersell my property.

I have attached along with this letter my recent salary slip and copies of relevant mortgage documents and home insurance papers for your perusal.

Kindly go through them and come up with a solution that best suits both of us.

Thanks for reading this letter and eagerly awaiting a favorable response.
