Dear Mr. Mahajan,

I am writing this letter to express my most heartfelt apologies for my improper behavior during the meeting of employees yesterday.  I was not feeling well at the start of the day and I had a headache when the meeting was going on.  I had been very busy the whole day and I was very exhausted.  As such, I easily lost my temper and could not stop myself from reacting negatively to the constructive criticisms given about my performance.

I deeply apologize for what happened and I will do my utmost to prevent this from happening again.  Should my actions merit any punishment, I will willingly accept it and do more to improve my working relationship with the employees I have hurt due to my actions.

I hope for your consideration on this matter.

Sincerely,

Mr. Ramanuja Iyengar
