29th November, 2011.

Sub: Retirement letter

Dear Lt. Gen. Thomas,

It is with a heavy heart that I hang up my uniform on the 30th November, 2011 after 20 years of dedicated service.  It has been a matter of great pride and honor for me to have served in the Army.

I would like to place on record my sincere gratitude and appreciation for guiding me in my journey in the Army.  I have risen from the post of a Private to Chief Warrant Officer 4.  I have many people to thank, for guiding me and leading me to become not only a better soldier but also a better person.

I would be moving to Houston to be with my family.  If at any time in the future, I can be of any help to you personally or the Army, I shall always be at your service and command.

Thanking You,

Sincerely,

James Brunt

Chief Warrant Officer 4
