A sales letter can be one of the most effective tools in marketing. Well written sales letters can be very effective in making sales if they are well thought through. When writing a sales letter, ensure that you capture your reader’s attention in the first paragraph. Many people may not want to read past a boring first paragraph. Make sure you focus on the product or service you are offering instead of giving a general overview of what your company offers. Entice the reader to take action on your offer by illustrating the benefits of investing in your products or services. Before signing off, make sure you leave the reader with a contact address, email address or website from which they can get more information.
